Enamel Pin: Walking Taco

Sale price$15.00

Oh dear. This one makes me very nervous.

A taco with legs. Why does it need legs? Is it running away from me, or toward me? The gnomes said it's "cute," but I just feel like I should be apologizing to it before I eat lunch.

It is 1.5 inches by 2 inches, which is a very concerning size for a mobile snack. It's made of hard enamel and black nickel, so it's very shiny and incredibly tough. And thankfully, it has a black rubber clasp on the back, so at least it won't bite... or poke you.

FAST FOOD (LITERALLY)

Enamel Pin: Walking Taco

You know that feeling when you draw something and then worry it might run off the page? The gnomes decided to make that a reality. They turned this... sprinting lunch... into a shiny metal pin.

That one goblin who collects scrap metal in my neighbourhood keeps trying to feed it lettuce, but I don't think it has a mouth. Use this pin to decorate your Supply Tote or your jacket... and try not to get too hungry when you look at it. Just... keep an eye on it in case it makes a run for it.

CRUNCHY BUT METAL.

The Walking Taco is made of 'hard enamel' and 'black nickel.' It feels very solid, which is a relief because a real taco would be very messy in your pocket. It means it won't scratch easily when you accidentally drop it out of sheer surprise. Which I do often.

THE PERFECT SIZE FOR ESCAPING.

At 1.5" x 2", it is just the right size to be noticed without being completely overwhelming. The Ignorant Duck chased it around the studio yesterday, thinking it was a real, crunchy bug.

NO SHARP POKES.

The back has a black rubber clasp. Metal clasps always manage to pinch my fingers, but the rubber one is soft and squishy. It keeps the taco firmly attached to your bag without any sharp metal surprises waiting to poke you when you reach inside for a pencil.

Chaotic Draw Along Prompt Cards

You might know the 'Chaotic Draw Along' is all about combining things that probably shouldn't go together?

Well, this pin is the physical proof of that chaos. Tacos and legs.

We just want to make fun things that help folks reconnect with their imagination, even the really weird parts.

You know, to help you remember not to take art too seriously... because, well, look at those little shoes.

So, I guess we wanted to make a shiny little badge that... celebrates the strangest happy accidents.

It's all part of the same... family. Just... the crunchy, sprinting cousin of the family. I hope that's okay.
